Czech Republic national beach soccer team will face Germany in two international friendlies in Prague, with goalkeeper Václav ŠLÉGR (SK Bosnia Online EU Teplice) included in the squad.
The matches are scheduled for Friday, May 1st and Saturday, May 2nd, both kicking off at 17:00 local time at the Prague Beach Arena.
The double-header will mark the first matches in charge for newly appointed head coach Michal Salák, as the Czech Republic begins preparations for the upcoming Euro Beach Soccer League season.
The fixtures form part of the team’s build-up to the EBSL campaign, where Czech Republic will later face Portugal, Belarus and Turkey in the group stage.
The most recent meeting between Czech Republic and Germany ended in a Czech victory on penalties, with Šlégr playing a decisive role in the shootout.
