FROM NAZARÉ TO ALANYA: BEGANOVIĆ TAKES FUEGO GLOBAL

News

Seven years after a vision first emerged, SK Bosnia Online EU Teplice are preparing to step onto the World Winners Cup stage. Alanya 2026 will not simply be another tournament on the calendar. For Adnan “Don” Beganović, it represents the next evolution of a project that has spent years learning how to survive, compete and grow beyond its domestic borders. And this time, FUEGO is going global.

There are moments when a club’s history suddenly starts to make sense.

Not because everything happened according to plan.

But because years of work, setbacks, experiments and international experience eventually lead to a destination that once looked almost unrealistic.

For SK Bosnia Online EU Teplice, that destination is now Alanya.

From 26 October to 1 November 2026, the Czech-based club will enter the World Winners Cup for the first time.

For the outside world, it may look like another international appearance.

Inside the project, it means considerably more.

This is the moment when an idea dating back to 2019 finally meets reality.

And the man preparing the next move is once again Adnan “Don” Beganović.

THIS IS NO LONGER JUST A EUROPEAN PROJECT

Bosnia’s relationship with international beach soccer has been built gradually.

The club did not arrive on the European scene as an established power.

It had to learn.

Adapt.

Build contacts.

Understand different styles.

And most importantly, discover what kind of team could compete outside the comfort of the domestic environment.

That process continued at the Euro Winners Cup 2026 in Nazaré.

Portugal offered another demanding test against international opposition and another opportunity for Beganović to evaluate his project against a level of competition that domestic beach soccer cannot fully replicate.

But Nazaré was not the final destination.

It now looks more like preparation.

A checkpoint before something bigger.

Alanya changes the scale.

The World Winners Cup introduces a broader international context, new opponents, different football cultures and another layer of pressure.

For Beganović, that means one thing:

The team that travelled through Europe cannot simply be copied and pasted into a world event.

It has to evolve.

BEGANOVIĆ IS BUILDING THE ALANYA VERSION OF BOSNIA

The most fascinating part of the coming months may not be the tournament itself.

It may be the construction of the squad.

Beganović has already demonstrated that he does not treat every competition in the same way.

Domestic league football has its own logic.

Major international tournaments require another.

Different profiles.

Different experience.

Different physical and technical qualities.

And sometimes, different names.

The Bosnia that appears in Alanya could therefore become a specially built version of the team.

A selection designed not simply to participate, but to survive the demands of a global event.

No final cards have been shown yet.

That is exactly what makes the next phase interesting.

The question is no longer whether Bosnia will go to Alanya.

The question is:

What kind of Bosnia will arrive there?

THE NEXT GENERATION IS ALREADY INSIDE THE TECHNICAL AREA

There is another storyline developing alongside the sporting project.

Once again, Zlatan Beganović is expected to stand beside Adnan Beganović as part of the coaching staff.

That detail carries more significance than it might initially appear.

In 2026 alone, Zlatan’s football education will have taken him from the Euro Winners Cup in Nazaré to the environment of the World Winners Cup in Alanya.

For a young assistant, those experiences cannot be reproduced in a classroom or training manual.

International tournaments expose a technical staff to everything at once:

pressure, preparation, player management, tactical adaptation, recovery, travel, different refereeing interpretations and the psychological demands of short-format competition.

In Nazaré, he experienced the European level.

In Alanya, the education continues.

This time on a wider stage.

EWC 2026 was experience.
WWC 2026 becomes progression.

And somewhere inside that journey, SK Bosnia are also quietly building their future.

FUEGO WAS NEVER SUPPOSED TO STAY LOCAL

The word FUEGO has followed Bosnia for years.

Sometimes as a slogan.

Sometimes as an attitude.

Sometimes simply as a way of describing the personality of a club that has never been particularly interested in doing things quietly.

But Alanya gives the identity a new meaning.

Because the project is no longer looking only at what can be achieved in Czech beach soccer.

The horizon has expanded.

Nazaré proved that Bosnia could repeatedly enter the European conversation.

Alanya now offers the opportunity to take another step.

Not by pretending to be something the club is not.

But by taking the same identity into a much larger environment.

That is the challenge.

Keep the personality.

Raise the level.

PARTICIPATION IS THE TICKET. COMPETITION IS THE PURPOSE.

There is an easy way to approach a first World Winners Cup.

Enjoy the invitation.

Take the photographs.

Collect the memories.

Return home satisfied.

That does not appear to be Beganović’s plan.

There is respect for the magnitude of the event and for the opponents Bosnia may face.

But there is also a competitive instinct that has always defined the project.

The club has not spent years travelling through European beach soccer simply to become comfortable with participation.

Experience is supposed to produce something.

Confidence.

Better decisions.

Stronger recruitment.

Higher standards.

And eventually, better performances.

Alanya will show how much of that journey has been converted into reality.

2019 WAS THE IDEA. 2026 IS THE TEST.

Every project has dates that become symbolic only later.

For Bosnia, 2019 now carries that kind of meaning.

What existed then as ambition, imagination and perhaps even a slightly unrealistic vision will become tangible seven years later.

Not in a presentation.

Not in a social-media concept.

On the sand.

At the World Winners Cup.

That is why Alanya feels different.

It is not simply the next tournament.

It is the point where the story catches up with the dream.

And when SK Bosnia Online EU Teplice walk onto the beach in October, one chapter will close automatically.

The question will no longer be whether FUEGO can reach the world stage.

It will already be there.

The only question left will be:

What happens next?
